Characteristics, Features & Application
DURAMAX RG60 is a special copper-coated steel rod designed for oxy-acetylene (autogenous) welding of carbon or carbon-manganese steels of medium mechanical properties. It is suitable for welding construction steels and has a higher strength than INEGAS G1.

Recommended Operation of Welding Rods
DURAMAX RG60 may be used either forehand or backhand welding. Use a neutral flame or with a slight excess of acetylene. In the making of it is possible to produce a weld with a composition intermediate between those of the base metal and the filler
metal.
